The brief
Most small construction companies' websites are slow page-builder sites: a stock-photo slider, long paragraphs and the phone number buried at the bottom. The brief I set myself was a builder's site that loads fast on site-office mobile data, shows the work stage by stage, and makes asking for a quote the obvious next step.
What I built
Built in Astro so pages ship as plain HTML. A scroll-driven 3D sequence shows a house going up from foundations to roof, loaded only on devices that can handle it, with a still image for everyone else. Services, case studies and a multi-step quote form that captures suburb, budget and timeline all come from one content file.
What it shows
The concept shows what a mid-sized contractor gets for the money: a fast, credible site with a clear path from "just looking" to a qualified quote request.
